and largest city. It is the administrative center of the
Mazovia region, centrally
located on the Vistula River.
The historic Old Town section
has been painstakingly reconstructed
after more than 90
percent of the city was
destroyed during World War II.

Campower applicants, but the
city’s many universities also provide a variety of counselor recruitment opportunities. The Warsaw
Academy of Physical Education offers potential instructors in many areas of sport and recreation. The
Warsaw Medical Academy is a resource for special needs applicants. Scouting camps will find applicants
skilled in pioneering. English language is a popular course of study, and applicant language abilities can
