CONVENIENT STAFF TRAVEL

We know how important it is to have your staff arrive at camp in an efficient, timely manner. We work closely with you to coordinate travel details and offer several travel options:

FLIGHTS TO NEW YORK CITY
Participants who fly to NYC will be met by a Camp America staff member at the airport and brought to our arrivals hotel for the night. Participants then travel to camp the next morning via bus or train.

You may request staff to arrive earlier than the opening of our arrivals hotel. We ask that you arrange for these participants to be picked up at the airport by a representative from your camp.

DIRECT FLIGHTS
Camp America is pleased to offer direct flights to select U.S. cities from departure points in Europe. Details will again be included in your “Travel to Camp” packet and Camp Director’s Handbook. Please note: Direct arrivals must be met by a camp representative.

FLIGHTS TO ALTERNATE GATEWAYS
For camps located too far outside of NYC to easily be reached by bus or train, we are pleased to offer flights to many U.S. airports at an affordable price. These participants will by-pass
our arrivals hotel. Your camp is responsible for picking up these participants at the airport.

OWN TRAVEL (OT) PARTICIPANTS
Some participants make their own flight arrangements. These participants receive an extra amount built into their pocket money. The fee to Camp America is then adjusted accordingly.
It is a program requirement for camps to reimburse participants for the cost of ground travel to camp.
